In this activity, students will explore and develop an understanding of the different types of business ownership, including sole proprietorships, partnerships, corporations, co-operatives, and not-for-profit organizations, as well as the unique characteristics of each. Students will apply their knowledge of these business models to real-world scenarios, demonstrating their ability to connect theoretical concepts to practical business situations. Through discussion and analysis, students will strengthen their communication skills by clearly explaining their understanding of business ownership structures and how they function in different contexts. Students will also develop critical thinking skills by evaluating various scenarios and justifying their choice of the most appropriate form of business ownership using evidence and logical reasoning. This activity is designed to take approximately 30 minutes to complete.
