In this approximately 50-minute activity, high school students will explore the different types of business ownership, including sole proprietorships, partnerships, corporations, and co-operatives. Working individually or in small groups, students will analyze a variety of real-world business scenarios and determine which ownership structure best suits each situation. They will discuss their ideas, compare perspectives, and explain the reasoning behind their decisions, helping to strengthen their communication and collaboration skills. Throughout the activity, students will apply critical thinking by evaluating the advantages and disadvantages of different ownership models and justifying their choices using evidence and logical reasoning.
