Resolutions

Voting Member-Owners of the Ontario Co-operative Association may bring resolutions forward to be considered by the Members. Your resolution may be to request membership support of an activity or process, or to direct the board of OCA to consider or take action on an activity or process.


Procedures for submitting resolutions:

  • Resolutions may only be submitted by Voting Member-Owners of the Ontario Co-operative Association
  • OCA Member-owners are asked to submit resolutions no later than 30 business days prior to the Annual General Meeting
  • The Governance and Membership Committee reviews the resolutions, making changes as authorized
  • Resolutions are then circulated to Members in advance of the Annual General Meeting to permit their consideration
  • During the Annual General Meeting, the Chair can receive resolutions from the floor, time permitting, with a two-thirds majority vote of Members

Make sure your proposed resolutions arrives at the OCA office at least 30 business days prior to the AGM.
