Publications

Through a variety of publications, On Co-op informs its membership and the rest of Ontario about co-operative events, organizations and principles. Archives of these documents, as well as many others, can be found in our co-op resources area.

The On Co-op e-Newsletter

The On Co-op e-newsletter contains news and information for and about Ontario's Co-operative and Credit Union sectors, sector stakeholders and champions.  It generally features about 10 items, and is sent out via email approximately every two weeks.

The On Co-op Blog

On Co-op maintains and regularly updates its own blog. The On Co-op Blog regularly features interesting news stories on or related to co-ops, and also gives a look into the experience of interns working with On Co-op.

Holiday Guides

Every Year, On Co-op develops a Co-op Holiday Guide, giving you great gift ideas and ways to purchase those gifts through co-ops online or in your community. The most recent gift guide is available at the top right of this page. Gift Guides from previous years are available through the co-op resources area.

Annual Reports

On Co-op has produced a report to its membership - the Annual Report - since being formed as a co-operative association in May 2002. The annual report is released at each year's Annual General Meeting (AGM). Copies of previous annual reports can be downloaded from this page.

Update

The On Co-op Update is a printed/electronic newsletter to inform On Co-op members, co-op stakeholders and supporters, public policy makers, and the public about the latest events and news about co-operative activity in Ontario.

  • Additional printed copies of the On Co-op Update can be purchased at $1.00 per copy.

The Co-op Advantage

The Co-op Advantage magazine presents co-ops as a viable model for business, communities and public services, and celebrates the successes, durability and diversity of Ontario's co-operative sectors.

Most co-ops in the province receive at least one copy.  To ensure your organization receives its copy by mail, or to purchase additional copies for distribution to members, staff/board or potential co-op supporters, please contact  or 519.763.8271.  The cost is $3.00 per copy.

  • Electronic versions may be downloaded in PDF format from our co-op resources area. The most recent Advantage can be found in the related documents at the top right of this page.

CYL Newsletter and e-Bulletin

The CYL newsletter celebrates the magic of the Co-operative Young Leaders program.  Filled with photos, articles and comments from all those involved in the program, this is a fun and energetic look at On Co-op's summer leadership and self-confidence building camp.

Two or three times a year, On Co-op also sends out a brief e-newsletter to those interested in CYL, youth engagement and youth development.  There is something of interest to current and past participants, facilitators, sponsors, parents, co-ops and credit unions, and those interested in youth initiatives.

  • To subscribe to the CYL e-bulletin, send your name, email address and organization to the staff contact at the bottom of this page. Include the words SUBSCRIBE CYL in the subject line.
