Ontario Co-operatives Featured in Dec 1, 2014 Toronto Star Article
On Co-op staff, as well as a number of our member organizations were interviewed for this article, which appeared on the front page of the Business Section on December 1, 2014.
Our team has been working hard on raising co-op awareness this year, and we're pleased with the interest shown by the the Toronto Star. The article touches on the lack of co-op awareness within government and the public, and highlights our efforts to make changes to Ontario's 40-year-old Co-operative Corporations Act.
We encourage you to visit the online article. This will also give you the opportunity to add a comment or two in support of the co-op movement or of the contributions made by your own co-operative!
