Membership Meetings

On Co-op GMM 2010

On Co-op facilitates general members' meetings (GMM) for its membership, which are often also attended by co-op sector stakeholders.  The Board and staff present an update on the Association's activities and programs, and provide information on the budget and other financial items.  Members vote on resolutions as required. Time is always set aside for co-op networking and sharing. In addition, as mandated in the Co-operative Corporations Act, On Co-op holds and Annual General Meeting (AGM) where the Board of Directors is elected, general business is transacted, and speakers are brought in to discuss matters of importance for the co-operative movement in the coming year.

Only On Co-op Members may vote at members' meetings. Supporters and Friends may attend the meetings, and participate in discussion, but cannot vote on motions and resolutions, run for election to the Board of Directors, or elect board members.
