Governance
Like any co-operative, On Co-op is structured democratically. That means that the power rests in the hands of its members.
From (and by) the body of members, a Board of Directors is elected. That board then assigns and oversees the Executive Director of On Co-op. The Executive Director is in charge of hiring and overseeing the rest of the On Co-op staff. Lastly, a committee structure is created to give guidance and direction to On Co-ops actions. These committees are open to anyone—staff, members, associate members and even members of the general public who care deeply about the co-operative movement.
All of this means that the leadership of On Co-op is always co-operative and democratic, always directed by its membership.
